Because of the daily growing demand for energy we have to find the more and new alternatives of energy to satisfy the demand. One of the most common sources of energy now a day is solar and its production over other energy sources rising globally. Currently 31% of energy demand is satisfied by solar energy in India and totally it contributes approximate 22% of energy that India totally produced domestically. In India government-funded and subsidized solar electricity production is not less than approximately 6.4 MW per year as of 2005 which is comparatively more with respect to other developing countries. India is ranked number one in terms of solar electricity production per watt installed, with an insolation of 1,700 to 1,900 kilowatt hours per kilowatt peak (kWh/KWP). Recently almost 25.1 MW was added in 2010 and 468.3 MW in 2011 in the form of solar energy across India. As on 30 June 2015, the installed grid connected solar power capacity is 4,060.65 MW which supports domestic distribution of solar energy and India expects to install an additional 10,000 MW by 2017 and a total of 100,000 MW by 2022. In this report researcher collected and analyzed all the information and data required for setting up of a solar power plant.
