Answer:

I have written everything about the Exponents and powers, Hope it will help you

Step-by-step explanation:

When ever there is a power/exponent, it means that the number is multiplied by itself the number of times of exponent. for eg. -

3 {}^{2}  = 3 \times 3 \\ 5 {}^{4}  = 5 \times 5 \times 5 \times 5

now if the exponent have -ve sign then the number is inversed, or its reciprocal is done. For eg. -

2 {}^{ - 3}  =  \frac{1}{2 {}^{3} }  =  \frac{1}{8}  \\  \frac{2}{6 {}^{ - 2} } = 2 \times 6 {}^{2}   = 2 \times 36 = 72

Now if the exponent have fraction, then the number in denominator is taken as Root around the number. For eg. -

7 {}^{ \frac{1}{2} }  =  \sqrt{7}  \\ 4 {}^{ \frac{1}{3} }  =  \sqrt[3]{4}

If the fraction has numerator as well than it acts as normal exponent. For eg. -

3 {}^{ \frac{2}{4} }  =  (\sqrt[4]{3} ) {}^{2}

If same number multiplying have different exponents then the exponents get added. like -

3^2 × 3^5 = 3^2+5 = 3^7

Now with the help of these rules you can simply solve these questions.

Note : anything raise to '0' = 1

 {x}^{0}  = 1

(where x is any number)
