Given  : exponents and radicals

Solution :

A radical expression is defined as any expression containing a radical (√) symbol.

\sqrt[n]{a}   -  n is  order of Surd/Radical

\sqrt[n]{a}    - a is called Radicand  

√ -  Radical Symbol

aⁿ   - n is the exponent and means that a is to multiplied n times

\sqrt{x}  = \sqrt[2]{x}  is called Square root of x

\sqrt[3]{x}  is called cube root of x

\sqrt{x}  = \sqrt[2]{x} is Equivalent radical expression for  x^{\frac{1}{2}}

x^{\frac{1}{2}} is exponent expression
