Export is selling of goods and services, which are produced in the home country to that of the other market or country.

Whereas, import is referred to as buying or bringing goods and services from that of other country.

When a country receives or take something it is import and when a country send or sells something it is export.

The importer and exporter country sell and buy goods is called trade.
