let x=0.12bar
     x=0.12121212.........______(1)
100x=12.12121212.........._______(2)
 subtract (1) from (2)
we get,
           99x=12
               x=12/99
               x=4/33.
therefore...0.12bar = 4/33

The \frac{p}{q} \quad form \quad of \quad\overline{0.12}=\frac{4}{33}.

The number which represents the parts of a whole is called Fractions. It is usually expressed in \quad\mathrm{p} / \mathrm{q} \quad form \quad where \quad q \neq 0 . The numbers which is not the whole numbers are expressed by fraction. In the p/q form p is the top number of fractions which is called numerator and q is the total number of fractions which is called denominator. The fraction value can be obtained by dividing the numerator and denominator which converts the fractions in to decimal form.

Answer:

Let x = \overline{0.12}

x = 0.121212 \rightarrow(1)

100 x=12.121212 \rightarrow(2)

Subtract the equation (1) from (2), we get,

99x = 12

x=\frac{12}{99}

x=\frac{4}{33}

\therefore \overline{0.12}=\frac{4}{33}
