Let x = 0.3242424... (i)

10x = 3.242424... (ii)

1000x = 324.2424... (iii)

We have to Subtract (iii) from (ii) -

1000x - 10x = 324 - 3

==> 900x = 321

==> x = 321/900

==> x = 107/300
