Le X= 1.323232323232323232.......(I)
and 100X= 132.32323232323232323232......(II) Subtracting (I) from (II) gives
99X=131 or X= 132/99
Similarly let
Y= 0.35353535353535.........(III) 100Y = 35.35353535353535353535......(IV)
Subtracting (III) from (IV) gives
99Y = 35 or Y= 35/99
Hence
1.32(32 recurring) + 0.35( 35 recurring )
=131/99+35/99= (131+35)/99= 166/99
