Every perfect square can be expressed as sum of consecutive odd no.s using :

Sum of ' n ' consecutive odd numbers = n²


here 100 is a perfect square, n² is 100
n =10
Thus, 100 can be written as sum of first 10 odd no.s

( 1+3+5+7+9+11+13+15+17+19) = 10² = 100



Observe some more examples:
i ) 1 = 1²
ii ) 1 + 3 = 4 = 2²
iii ) 1 + 3 + 5 = 9 = 3²
iv ) 1+ 3+5+7 = 16 = 4²
v ) 1+3+5+7+9 = 25 = 5²
