There are 2 repeating digits, so multiply by 10 * 10.

= > 100x = 1848.48 ------ (2)

On subtracting (2) & (1), we get

= > 100x - x = 1848.48 - 18.48

= > 99x = 1830

= > x = 1830/99

= > x = 610/33.
