Solution:

Let the power be x

3^12=(1/27)^x

Before solving the prblm......we should make it clear that....

1/27 = 3^-3

So,

3^12=(3^-3)^x

3^12=3^-3x(Multiplying the powers)

(As bases are equal powers will be equal)

12=-3x

Or can be written as,

-3x=12

x=12/-3

x=-4

If the power be y

then,3^13=(1/27)^y

ACC (Accordingly),

3^13=(3^-3)^y

3^13=3^-3y

(As bases are equal powers will be equal)

13=-3y

Or can be written as,

-3y=13

y=-4
