Let x = 3.3566666...----(1)

multiply (1) by 100 , we get

=> 100x = 335.6666.....---(2)

Now ,

multiply (2) by 10, we get.

=> 1000x = 3356.6666..----(3)

Subtract (2) from (3), we get

=> 900x = 3021

=> x = 3021/900

=> x = (3×1007)/(3×300)

=> x = 1007/300

Therefore,

x =3.356666...

= 1007/300 [p/q form ]
