Let's solve it.
Let x=3.72 bar over 72 €
Multiplying by 100 on both sides of this equation , we get:-
100x = 372.72 bar over 72 ¥
Now we have to subtract equation ¥-€
We get:-
99x = 369 @
The decimal's recurring part has been cancelled out.
Now we have to solve @ for x.
99x =369
x =369/99
After bringing it in lowest terms we get:-
x= 41/11
So we have expressed it in the form of p/q where q ≠0 and p and q are co-prime integers
