If we muliply 4/5 with 4 with both numerator and denominator then there will be no change in the number so we can write...

4×4/5×4=16/20
so, now we have expressed 4/5 as a rational no. with denominator 20.

GIVEN : \frac{4}{5} is rational number

TO FIND : To express the given rational number with 20

SOLUTION :

Rational Numbers are numbers which can be expressed in the form of \frac{p}{q} where p and q are integers and and q is not equal to zero.

As accroding to the question we need to express the given rational number where denominator of the rational number should be .

So, denominator is 5 and it should be 20 .

So 20 comes 4th time in the tabke of 20 or when 20 is divided by 5 it gives 4.

And we multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number , so we are going to multiply numerator and denominator by 4 as denominator should be 20 which is already mentione in the question.

\frac{4}{5} × \frac{4}{4} =  \frac{16}{20}

So, the required rational number is \frac{16}{20}.

Rational Number is \frac{16}{20} .
