Then 10x = 47.3636.... and 1000x = 4736.3636....

$1000x-10x=473636....-47.3636....$

==> $990x=4689$

==> $x=\frac{4689}{990}$

∴ $x=\frac{521}{110}$

Answer: 4.73636.... = 521/110
