Actually, I think it can’t be written as a sum of two irrational numbers as it is a square of 2. Seriously, it could not!

- An Irrational Number is a real number that cannot be written as a simple fraction.
◆ 4 as sum of irrational numbers-
Pi (π) is irrational number as it can't be written as fraction of two integers.
π = 3.1415926......
Sum of rational and irrational numbers is always irrational, therefore 4-π must be irrational number.
Taking, a = π & b = 4-π ,
a + b = π + 4 - π = 4
Therefore, 4 can written as sum of irrational numbers π & 4-π .
