Answer:

given rational number 5/-6

multipling both terms with (-1)

                 = -5/6

we need to make the denominator 54

            -5/6 = x/54

               6x  = 54(-5)

                6x  = -270

                  x  = -270/6

                 x =  -45

Answer:

 \frac{5}{ - 6}  \\  =  \frac{ - 5}{6}  \\  =  \frac{ - 5 \times 9}{6 \times 9}  \\  =  \boxed{ \bold{ \underline{  \underline{ \frac{ - 45}{54} }}}}
