Given:

A number 5/7 ,which has to be expressed with numerators as

  • (i) -30
  • (ii)70
  • (iii)(-95)

Concept Used:

We will try to convert the numerator into given numbers by multiplying it by a suitable number.

Answer:

(i) 5/7 = 5×-6/7×-6 = -30/-42.

(Multipling numerator and denominator by same number i.e. -6 .)

(ii) 5/7 =5×14/7×14 =70/98.

(Multipling numerator and denominator by same number i.e. 14)

(iii) 5/7 = 5×-19/7×-19 =-95/-119.

(Multipling numerator and denominator by same number i.e. -19)
