Given: The decimal number is 6.5

To find The simplest form of the given number without decimal

Solution: To find out the simplest form of a decimal number by removing the decimal point, we have to take the decimal number without the decimal point as the numerator and in the denominator, we have to divide according to the numbers on the right side of the decimal point, say if it is one then divide it by 10, if it is two then 100, and so on.

Here, the decimal number is 6.5 then the equivalent form of the decimal number or the fractional part of the given decimal number is 65/10, and reducing this we get 13/2, as we divide both the numerator and denominator by 5 we get 13/2 as the reduced or the simplest form.

Hence the simplest form of 6.5 without decimal is 13/2.
