the right answer is-7×5/8×5= -35/40 is it right or not

At first we have to see by which number 8 should be multiply so that the product will be 40.
So, 8 should be multiplied by 5 to get 40.8×5=40
Now, we have to express -7/8 into rational number.
So multiple -7×5=35/8×5=40.
The answer will be 5.
