Let

A = 8.484848.... (equation 1)

100A = 848.484848....

100A - A = 848.4848.... - 8.4848....

99A = 840

A = $\frac{840}{99}$ (equation 2)

Comparing equations 1 and 2

8.4848.... = $\frac{840}{99}$

i.e., 8.48bar = $\frac{840}{99}$

This is in p/q form where p = 840 and q = 99

Hence answer is 840/99
