so let the least number be x

other 8 numbers 

=> x+2:x+4...x +16

so 

x +x +2+x+4+...x +16 = 81

9x + 72 = 81

9x = 81 - 72

9x = 9

x = 1

other numbers 

=. x+2:x+4................x +16

so ,

1+3+5+7+9+11+13+15+17 = 81
