The following numbers are in Mixed fraction.

The Question asked to convert them into Improper Fraction.

Improper Fraction - The fraction in which the Numerator is greater and the Denominator is smaller, is called Improper Fraction.

To convert into Mixed Fraction -

1. Multiply the Denominator with the given whole number.

2. Add the product with the Numerator.

3. The Denominator's value remains the same.

Q. Express as Improper Fraction -

ⓐ 7 whole 3 / 4

= (4 × 7) + 3 / 4

= 28 + 3 / 4

= 31 / 4

ⓑ 2 whole 5 / 6

= (6 × 2) + 5 / 6

= 12 + 5 / 6

= 17 / 6
