If we don't use 1000x and just subtract it with x = 0.134, we will not get it in a fraction form (p/q)

The possible way is:-

Let 0.134(bar)= x

Then,

1.34(bar) = 10 (Multiply by 100 because there are 2 digits are repeating )

134.34(bar)= 1000x

Now, subtract 1000x & 10x (the 34 bar will get subtracted)

Then,

[1000=134.34(bar)] - [ 10x = 1.34(bar)]

990x= 133

x = 133
