The rational form of

i)0.36 = \frac{9}{25},

i)15.4 =  \frac{77}{5} ,

iii)10.25 = \frac{41}{4}

iv) 3.25 =   \frac{13}{4}

To Find:

To convert decimal numbers to rational numbers.

Solution:

1) 0.36 = \frac{36}{100}

= \frac{9}{25}

Here p = 9 and q=25.

2) 15.4 = \frac{154}{10}

=  \frac{77}{5}

Here, p= 77 and q=5.

3) 10.25 = \frac{1025}{100}

= \frac{41}{4}

Here p = 41 and q= 4.

4) 3.25 =\frac{325}{100}

= \frac{13}{4}

Here p = 13 and q= 4.

Therefore, all the decimal numbers are represented in the form of p/q for all p and q integers.
