multiplying both sides by 100
➡ 100 × x = 100 × 6.19777777...
➡ 100x = 619.7777777... -------(ii)
subtracting (i) from (ii)
➡ 100x - x = 619.777777... - 6.1977777...
➡ 99x = 613.58
since p and q must be integers, we'll multiply both sides by 100.
➡ 9900x = 61358
➡ x = 61358/9900
