Multiple equation (1) by 100 we get,


100X = 15.99 ------(2)



Again multiple equation (2) by 10 we get,


1000X = 159.99 ------(3)


Subtract equation (2) from equation (3) we get,


1000X = 159.99
100X = 15.99
-----------------------

900X = 144

X = 144/900 = 72/450 = 36/225 [P/Q form ]
