Answer:

Change one system of unit in other system by first write the quantity in terms of fundamental quantities and then apply unit conversion rules. For example if you want to change unit of force Newton into dyne i.e. from SI unit to CGS unit.

First break Newton into fundamental units.

As,

force = mass × acceleration

i.e. 1 N = 1 kg × 1m/s2

Now to change it into CGS system.

1 kg = 1000 g

and, 1 m = 100 cm

1 s2 = 1 s2

Now in CGS unit, 1 N = (1000 g) × 100cm/s2

1 N = 100000 g cm/s2 = 105 dyne

Hope it's helpful :)
