Given: The term sec 51 degree + cosec 25 degree

To find: Express the above term in terms of trigonometric ratios of angle between zero degree and 45 degree.

Solution:

  • Now we have given the term sec 51 degree + cosec 25 degree.
  • Now we can writ 51 as (90 - 39), so:

                   sec (90 - 39) degree + cosec 25 degree   .......(I)

  • Now we know the formula:

                   sec ( 90 - x ) = cosec x

  • So applying this in (I), we get:

                   cosec 39 degree + cosec 25 degree

Answer:

So sec 51 degree + cosec 25 degree can be express in terms of trigonometric ratios of angle between zero degree and 45 degree as :

cosec 39 degree + cosec 25 degree
