= -4 + 0 iota where a= -4 and b = 0


2.) 242/27 , -26 iota where a= 242/27 or b = -26 iota

This can be written as ((1-i)^2)^2
To solve it you should learn the formula (a-b)^2=(a^2+b^2-2ab) and (i)^2=-1.
Applying the formula we get-
(1+i^2-2i)^2=(1+(-1)-2i)^2=(-2i)^2=
(4(i)^2)=-4
