Given:

x ÷ 3, 5n − 12, 11 + 10x, 70s

To find:

Express the algebraic statement to verbal statement.

Solution:

An algebraic expression is the expression which consist of variables, constants.

(i) x ÷ 3

=> Variable x is divided by 3.

(ii)5n − 12

=> Subtracting 12 from n times of 5.

(iii)11 + 10x

=> Adding 11 to 10 times of x

(iv)70s

=>70 times of s

Hence, the verbal statement are (i) Variable x is divided by 3.

Hence, the verbal statement are (i) Variable x is divided by 3.(ii)Subtracting 12 from n times of 5.

Hence, the verbal statement are (i) Variable x is divided by 3.(ii)Subtracting 12 from n times of 5.(iii)Adding 11 to 10 times of x

Hence, the verbal statement are (i) Variable x is divided by 3.(ii)Subtracting 12 from n times of 5.(iii)Adding 11 to 10 times of x(iv)70s
