2x+1=529

2x=529-1

x=528/2=264

X+1= 264+1=265

264+265 They are consecutive and their sum is 529.

Sum of two consecutive numbers = 15²

=> x+(x+1)=225

=> 2x+1 = 225

=> 2x = 225-1

=> 2x = 224

=> x = 224/2

=> x = 112

Therefore,

x+1 = 112 + 1 = 113
