Answer:

Given, (1+i)(1+3i)/1+5i

we multiply the numerator,

(1+3i+i-3)/1+5i,

(4i-2)/1+5i,

by doing rationalising we get,

(4i-2)/(1+5i) / (1-5i)/(1-5i)

(4i+20-2-20i) / (1+5)

(18-16i)/6

(9-8i)/3

=(9/3)+(-8i/3)

=3+(-8i/3)

It's in the form of a+ib
