Express the following linear equations in the form of ax + by + c= 0 and indicate the values of a, b and c in each case:

i) x- y/5 - 10 = 0
ii) -2x + 3y = 6

(note: please do this in a paper and send the attachment so I can understand it easily- student)

GIVEN EQUATION,

  • x -  \frac{y}{5}  - 10 = 0
  •  - 2x + 3y = 6

ax + by + c = 0 \: FORM

  • x -  \frac{y}{5}  - 10 = 0 \\  =  >( x -  \frac{y}{5}  - 10 ) \times 5= 0 \times 5 \\ 5x - y - 50 = 0

HANCE,

a=5

b=-1

c=-50

  •  - 2x + 3y = 6 \\ =  >  2x - 3y =  - 6  \:  \:  \:  \: \\  =  > 2x - 3y + 6 = 0

HANCE,

a=2

b=-3

c=6
