Express the following problems using x' as the unknown number. a) A number is added to 15. The new number is multiplied by 3 to get 60.

b) A number is subtracted from 72. The new number is divided by 6 to get 10.

c) A number is divided by 8. The number obtained is divided by 9 to get 1.

d) A number is multiplied by 5. The new number is divided by 10 to get 8.

e) A number is added to 35. The new number is divided by 7 to get 10.​

a. 3(15+x)=60

45+3x = 60

3x = 60 - 45
