Heya User ....

--> Mother's age -> 'x'
--> Son's age  ----> 'y'

--> Mother's age '6' years ago = ' x - 6 '
--> Son's age '6' years ago = ' y - 6 '

--> Acc. to Qn. :->
      -> [ x - 6 ] = 8 [ y - 6 ] + 3
      -> x = 8y - 39
      -> x - 8y + 39 = 0 -------> [ The Desired Equation ]

Now,
--> 8y = x + 39
-> y = 4 + [ x + 7 ] / 8

=> '8' divides ( x + 7 )
=> x = 1 and x= 9 are two soln.

=> ( x , y ) = ( 1 , 5 ) , ( 9 , 6 )

However, these two are illogical =_=
--> [ Wonder how mother is Younger than Son :p Drives me Crazy ]

=> ( x , y ) = ( 17 , 7 )  --> [ She's still young... Haww. I can flirt too ]

--> ( x , y ) = ( 25 , 8 )  --> [ Young still .. to bear a child ]

--> ( x , y ) = ( 33 , 9 ) , ( 41 , 10 )
Ah! Finally she's at least aged like a mother =_=

Therefore two desired soln. are :->

--> ( x , y ) = ( 33 , 9 ) , ( 41 , 10 ) √√
