as x-y/5-10=0 so[5x-y-50] /5=0 so (5x-y -50) =0*5 now we got 5x-y-50 =0 then 5x+(-1)y +(-50)=0 so a =5 b =-1 c =-50

Given:

The linear equation x-y/5-10=0

To Find:

Express the equation in the form ax+by+c

Solution:

We have to first solve the given equation and write it in the simplest form.

x-y/5-10=0

(5x - y - 50)/5 = 0 (Taking 5 as L.C.M)

Now multiplying both sides by 5

5x - y - 50 =0

Now we will compare it with ax+by+c to find the values of a,b,c

ax + by + c =0

5x - y - 50 =0

So,

a = 5

b = -1

c = -50

Hence,  the linear equation x-y/5-10=0 in the form ax+by+c  is 5x - y - 50 =0 and the values of a,b and c are 5, -1 ,-50 respectively.
