Let x = 12. 28888.......( i )

10 x = 122. 8888........( ii )

100x = 1228. 8888.....( iii )

$\bold {On \: subtracting \: ( ii ) \: from \:(iii).. }$

We have ;

100x - 10x = 1228 - 122

=> 90x = 1106

$= > x = \frac{ \cancel{1106} \: {}^{553} }{ \cancel{90} \: {}^{45} } \\ \\ \boxed{ \bold { \therefore \: x = \frac{553}{45}} }$

Hence, it is in the p / q form.
