mass of the object = 10 kg

acceleration of object = 1/10 of earth's acceleration.

acceleration of object = 1/10*9.8 m/s^2.

                                      = 0.98 m/s^2.

weight of an object = mass * acceleration due to gravity.

                                  = 10 kg* 0.98 m/s^2.

                                     = 9.8 N.
