Question ➡ express x=3y in the form of ax+by+c=0,and indicates the values of ab,b and c

Answer

Given : x=3y

⟹x−3y=0

⟹(1)x+(−3)y+0=0

This is in the form of ax+by+c=0

So a=1,b=−3,c=0

Question ➡ express x=3y in the form of ax+by+c=0,and indicates the values of a,b and c ?

Answer

Given : x = 3y

And we need to express x=3y in the form of ax+by+c=0 and then indicates the values of a,b and c

Solution :

x = 3y

x - 3y = 0

x + (-3) y + 0 = 0

here you see that if we put the value of a, b and c we find that

x + (-3) y +0

ax + by + c = 0

so,

compare this with ax + by +c = o

and then

a = 1 , b= 3 and c = 0
