Solution:

i ) Given 3x+4y = 6

=> 3x = -4y + 6

Divide each term by 3 , we get

=> x = (-4/3)y + 2 ----(1)

ii ) Substitute (3,2) in the equation 3x+4y=6, we get

3×3+4×2 = 6

=> 9 +8 = 6

=> 17 = 6 [ False ]

Therefore,

(3,2 ) point doesn't lie on the

given line .
