3x + 2y = 5

3x = 5 - 2y

x = 5-2y/ 3

Yes (1,1) is a point on the line. I.e. is a solution of equation 3x + 2y = 5

As

3×1 + 2×1=5

3+2 = 5

Hence fulfills the condition.
