2y=3-x^5

y=(3-x^5)/2

Putting x=(-5) and y=2 in LHS

(-5)^5+2(2)

-3125+4

-3121

but RHS is 3

because LHS is not equal to RHS

therefore, (-5,2) is not the solution of the given quadratic equation.
