Given : 2x - 3y = 12

y = (2x - 12)/3

On x - axis: (y = 0)

0 = (2x - 12)/3

2x = 12

x = 6

On y - axis : (x = 0)

y = -4

points where the line represented by this equation cuts the x-axis and y-axis : (6,0) and (0,-4)
