Given equation says :

- 3 x + 5 y - 11 = 0

We have to express y in terms of x.

Transpose 3 x to the right hand side .

The sign will change to positive .

5 y - 11 = 3 x

Transpose 11 to the other side .

= 5 y = 11 + 3 x

Now divide both sides by 5 so as to get the value of y .

= y=\frac{11+3x}{5}
