−2x+y−7=0

⟹−2x+y=7⇒y=2x+7

Now, check for x=−3 and y=−2 for the solution of given equation:

We have, RHS =2x+7

=2(−3)+7=−6+7=1

=−2= LHS

Hence, x=−3 and y=−2 isn't the solution of given equation.
