covid 19 pandemic arrived in india and then started the lock down. lockdown? the term was new to my vocabulary actually, but yet , in the beginning I felt it was fun . stay home stay safe and have fun that was it! I thought to myself . but as it extended and extended , i couldnt help but miss my friends and school.
that crowd of a group of students, their chitchat and then that beautiful sound of the school bell.....I think I've lost it . The walls, the corridors , the lawn, the playground , the class and yes , our benches and blackboard ...that pitter-patter of rain drops on the school window during monsoon , that chilled air during winters and that sunny day on the playground in summer ... the speeches and lectures given to the entire class by our teachers and those smiles my friends had on there faces when they saw me ....I feel like , I've lost it all ... and yet there's a hope that we'll fight this pandemic and win because our efforts are going to be worth it and one day after this dark night ends , I'll go back to my school to make some more beautiful memories .
