Answer:

It is often the crux of many argumentative essays, that people are sacrificing their original thought for keeping themselves continuously entertained. It is also argued that if a person can find everything online, they do not give themselves a room to solve problem and innovate their own stuffs. In many essay writings, there has been a strong argument against technology that it is killing creativity in kids and adults who always have their heads and hands in phones, laptops or tablets leading to lack of imagination and creativity. As per many scientific studies it has been found out that a person needs time for day dreaming as it helps in boosting creativity. If a person fills any possible down time by scrolling their devices then there is no time left for daydreaming (Tapscott and Tapscott 2016).

Lack of originality and copying is widespread

A person can access anything that they like online. There are some templates for everything that a person can access including academic information and the same is available over internet making the process vulnerable to piracy and allegedly less creative. There is a decrease in creativity and web designing development in the recent years. The author has concluded that technology is killing creativity largely but the same is not dead. It has become an open battle between machines versus man, where man can win depending on their imagination (Henriksen et al. 2018).

It is killing the content

Lack of creativity and originality is one thing with content, but technology is also accused of promoting lazy communication and reducing our creativity in the given area. From the use of simple emoticon to the proliferation of other functions to express views, technology plays a vital role in making communications restricted (Richardson, Mishra and Deep-Play Research Group 2016).

Creativity scores are reducing

Technology has improved the scores in intelligence however, it has reduced the scores of creativity and the same is on decline since the year 1990. However, there has been no proper evidence that has lead to the decline of yet they believe that there is some kind of connection with technology.

The above-mentioned views were of people who believe that technology has hampered creativity in every aspect. On the other hand, there are other authors holding a different opinion stating that technology does not always hamper creativity and there are fields in which technology has played a positive role as well.
