Life 's best lessons are learnt from friends as if we have good friends whose all habits are good will be very helpful to you as they can teach you the best things that makes them best and as they are good , the will tell you good thinks that you can do to make your parents happier.
They are sometimes not good as they are fond of many bad things which can harm you. You are more influenced by friends than your parents and then you can not have a good outcome.

Explanation:
as per my opinion, i am against statement. i don't that it is very much probable that the best lesson that life teaches us are learnt from friends only. sometimes, it may be the parents, who work hard for their family. might be giving a lesson to you indirectly by doing whatever can so as to fill their families' stomach. sometimes, it may be your teacher. i am not talking about the one who is only concerned about syllabus to be completed but the one who guides the student towards each path of life. neverthelessly my opinion towards the statement, i also that in many aspects of life even friends can also give a way to learn the most important lessons of life. i might give an example of my uncle's friend who when in college realized the importance of studies inspite of being a student with average interests in studies but having an intelligent brain. he realized the joy of sitting on a chair and ringing the bell kept on table and everyone (with lower rank) around behaves like their servants. stood as a good lesson for my uncle who after seeing the success of friend worked more harder and is enjoying life now.
sometimes, the ones with absolutely no relation with us teach us the biggest lessons of life. for instance, i would give an example of a story written by "sudha murty" in she explains the plight of her friend when she was extremely pessimistic inspite of having a good job and a nice living. after some years when she was sent to some other place, a day was a turning point of her life. it was raining and she, as per fulfilling the desire of being a pessimistic started cursing as to why it was raining. then suddenly she noticed a beggar and granddaughter dancing in the rain. she felt very ashamed at that very sight as she was the one with all the necessary luxuries and were the one are called as beggars by modern time due to their misfortune of being discarded from all the luxuries she and many other people like her had. but the most important luxury is the satisfaction of oneself with whatever he or she has those beggars had but that friend of sudha murty lacked. that beggar and granddaughter changed her angle of beholding life. the one's had no relation with that women changed her life.
so, lets come to the point. not only friends, infact anybody in your life can make a turning point in your life with their works whether it is our parents, teachers, friends, some very successful persons whom we all know or the one who have to do with us.
anybody can be the reason for change in our life that is for our betterment.
