Expression for Kinetic energy

Consideration:-

Consider an object of mass 'm' by applying force 'F' on it . Acceleration 'a' is produced in the object.This object will be displaced through distance 'S' due to this applied force.

Proof:-

 F = ma

➥By using third equation of motion

2as = v^2 - u^2

➥object initially at rest

 u=0m/s

⟹2as =  {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}  \\  \\ ⟹a =  \frac{ {v}^{2} }{2s}

➥Putting value of 'a' in 2as = v² - u²

f =  \frac{1}{2} m \times  \frac{ {v}^{2} }{s}

Now,

 W = FS

⟹w =  \frac{1}{2} m \times  \frac{ {v}^{2} }{s}  \times s \\  \\ ⟹w =  \frac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}

➥This work done will be stored in the form of Kinetic energy in this object.
