The total energy in simple harmonic motion is the sum of its potentialenergy and kinetic energy. Equation III is the equation of total energy in asimple harmonic motion of a particle performing the simple harmonic motion.

hope it helps you

The total engery in simple harmonic motion is the sum of kinetic and potential energy.

In these equations, x is the displacement of the spring (or the pendulum, or whatever it is that's in simple harmonic motion), A is the amplitude, omega is the angular frequency, t is the time, g is the acceleration due to gravity (which is always 9.8), T is the time period of the oscillation, m is the mass of the object.

hope this helps!!!
